Future Pastor?
Thomas has been fascinated with Bible stories lately. He and Henry have spent hours playing "Moses and Pharaoh," usually at Thomas' prompting. I often find him in his room with two stuffed animals--one large and one small--acting out the story of David and Goliath. He knows it verbatim from his little Bible story book.
Today we're listening to kids' songs on Pandora. Several of the Disney theme songs are showing up on the TV screen. A few minutes ago they played the theme song from Aladdin and a picture of Aladdin and Jasmine on the magic carpet appeared on the screen. Thomas perked right up.
"Look! It's Adam and Eve!"
No amount of describing the movie to him could convince him otherwise. He was positive it was them.
Which prompted the thought, I wonder if we have a future pastor on our hands? Hmmm...
