Cook's inspiration

Henry woke up as I was finishing watching a cooking show.  They were sauteeing onions, and he was entranced.

Henry:  Mommy, what are those?
Me:  Onions.
Henry:  What do they make you want to think of?
Me:  Well, onions kind of make you cry when you cut them up--is that what you mean?
Henry:  Yeah, sort of.
Me:  What do they make you want to think of, Henry?
Henry:  They make me want a new toy, like a Thomas the Tank Engine toy.

Never question another person's cooking inspiration...
