Closing a Chapter

Today's the day we've been dreaming of for almost three years.  We are headed to Fort Wayne to do a final clean-up and clean-out of our old house.  We are officially closing on Wednesday and then the house we've called our own for almost eight years will belong to someone else.  It's a little bittersweet.  The negotiating and closing process have added more bitter than sweet, to be honest. But we're done. I think by and large we're excited to see our home in new hands and to finally, officially close this very long chapter in our lives.

So here's to spring, to new hopes and dreams, and to closing chapters in order to move forward.  Ahhh...
