Cora, as I held up leggings for her to wear: Um, are those tights or pants?
Me: Well, they're kind of tight pants.
Cora: Oh! Tants! I love tants!
Henry: Thomas, I think we should write a book today. You can illustrate it and I'll authorize it.
Thomas: Can I pick a sugar from my Valentine box to have with lunch?
Henry: Yeah, me too? I haven't had any sugars yet today.
[When did we start calling a candy a "sugar"??? I like the old-timey/health-conscious feel of it...]
