Pronoun Pros

I think my favorite period in my kids' speech development has to be the early days when they first learn personal pronouns.  Somehow hearing "me" and "I" in their squeaky little voices makes me smile every time.  Cora's in the middle of that phase right now.  Our days are filled with, "I hurt me," and "I dizzy."  Of course, there's plenty of misunderstanding in this stage too, like asking, "Hold you?" when she wants to be held, or "'Side you" when she wants me to sit beside her.  Before I know it she'll have it all straightened out and learn to add verbs. Until then I'm soaking up each primitive little sentence she sends my way.
