From The Mouths of Babes

Months ago when we listed our house, we promised the kids that we'd watch the Lego Movie (which was just hitting theatres) and get Happy Meals to celebrate a sale.  The celebration offer has stood, although the movie plans have changed since the theatre dates have come and gone (we have a DVD copy tucked away in our room, just waiting).  Today we had an unexpected just-before-Christmas showing on our house (and one yesterday--what's happening!?!?).  The younger two kids both wanted to pray at lunch.   

They've prayed every single day for ten months for our house to sell.  Cora always prays the same thing: "Dear God, please help our house sell bery bery (very very) soon."  Today she mixed it up.

Cora: Dear God, please help our house to sell bery bery today.

Thomas:  Dear God, please help our house to sell today.  I really, really like Happy Meals--you know that.  Help us to get an offer today so I can have one.
