Island Mist
Micah always makes fun of me for being super descriptive about colors and coming up with names that no one has ever used to describe a color. Today we were discussing possible colors for our dining room. He wasn't loving any of the choices I had come up with. Finally, I asked him to describe what he was envisioning, expecting something super non-descript like "Light Gray."
Me: OK, in your words, then, tell me what you're picturing for the color.
Micah: How about this: Island Mist.
Me: Island Mist? Seriously? OK, this isn't going to work, but... (I typed it into an internet search)
No fewer than 50 perfect shades showed up immediately.
