Meatbulbs
It's a sad, sad day. Cora has been calling meatballs "meatbulbs" for as long as I can remember. Today in the car, completely out of the blue, she asked, "Wait, Mom--is it meatbulbs or meatballs?" I frowned, because I knew I couldn't lie to her. I sighed and admitted it was the latter. She nodded and said, "Oh, that's what I thought. That's how I'm going to say it from now on."
I always mourn a little on the inside when they outgrow something they've always said the "wrong" way. Why can't they stay three forever???
