Big Talker

Thomas:  Mom, can I have some more of those peachy things?  I really liked them.

Me:  You mean the nectarines?  I'd love to give you more, but we finished them off.

Thomas:  Oh, well another sandwich might cheer me up.

Me:  Thomas, you're a funny kid.

Thomas (shrugging):  Not really.  I just talk a lot.
